〔大陸中心／綜合報導〕儘管廣東縣政府大力強化愛滋病防治與控制措施，但是廣東地區愛滋病患死亡率仍高居全大陸之冠，截至2012年11月底止，廣東愛滋病病患者人數約3萬6000多人，居全大陸第6，新增愛滋病患者為7800百多宗，光是今年6月就有79人因愛滋病而死亡，繼續位居傳染病致死病種的首位。
