網上交易付款平台PayPal因為入錯數字，讓美國男子雷諾茲（Chris Reynolds）瞬間成為全球最有錢的人，不過PayPal很快就修正錯誤。

56歲的雷諾茲用了PayPal近10年，多半是到拍賣網站eBay買賣時才用到，每月交易金額不超過100美元（約2980元台幣）。他本月12日查閱月結單的電子郵件時，竟發現戶口餘額是92,233,720,368,547,800美元，瞬間變成全球最有錢的「兆萬富翁」，這筆17位數字的財富，相當於全球GDP總和的1300倍，較全球首富、墨西哥電信大亨史林（Carlos Slim）及其家族的總資產720億美元多出很多，「當時我還以為這是我自己的欠款呢！」。不過，驚喜過後，他登入Paypal網頁查閱帳戶，發現餘額已經重新歸零了。
