〔記者許素蘭／苗栗報導〕苗栗縣政府18日上午執行拆除竹南科學園區都市計畫區段徵收公共設施工程範圍內九處逾期未拆遷的建物，縣府對於拆除過程中造成用路人不便表達歉意，並強調「手心手背都是肉」，基於保障公眾安全及地方長遠發展，不得不執行拆除工作，再次希望四戶鄉親體諒。
