【綜合報導】美國華盛頓郵報公司(Washington Post Company)同意出售旗下報紙《華盛頓郵報》，給網路零售龍頭亞馬遜公司創辦人兼執行長貝佐斯(Jeffery Bezos)，結束格拉漢家族長達4代的經營。
 
貝佐斯以2.5億美金現金，約75億台幣買下華郵，這場收購案，是貝佐斯一人獨自出資收購，將是華郵唯一老闆，根據報導指出，華郵將會更改報名，以全新名字出版。
 
由於網路興起加上數位化時代來臨，全球紙媒嚴重受到衝擊，華郵也難逃一劫財政陷困頓，過去6年收益下滑44%，雖然華郵網路版相當受歡迎，但紙媒每天銷量平均下滑7%。
 
華郵執行長唐諾格拉漢(Donald Graham)表示：「縱使不賣掉華郵，華郵也能繼續存活，但他們想要的不只是存活下去，出售華郵將有更多成功的機會。」
