〔生活中心／綜合報導〕潭美颱風襲來，根據中央災害應變中心統計，潭美已造成1名女子受傷；至於，新竹縣70歲老婦疑遭溪水沖走死亡、新北市機車騎士撞上閘門送醫不治，以及桃園市男性老翁溺死等3起，因為發生當時颱風警報尚未發布，且未成立應變中心，因此不列入這次颱風災情。
