〔大陸新聞中心／綜合報導〕在經過數個月的努力後，近日，美國航太總署宣布放棄修復開普勒太空望遠鏡。「開普勒」由此結束搜尋太陽系外類地行星的主要任務，但它仍可能被用於其他科研工作。美國航太總署表示，將繼續對「開普勒」過去4年搜集的資料進行分析，未來數年依然有望見到與「開普勒」有關的科學發現。
