〔記者許素蘭／苗栗報導〕102年全國運動會聖火於台北市引燃，8日由台中市傳遞到苗栗縣，8日上午十時五十分，副縣長林久翔親自在縣府第一辦公大樓前廣場迎接聖火，並點燃苗栗縣聖火隊成員副火，將聖火繼續傳遞到新竹市。
