〔大陸新聞中心／綜合報導〕世界首條連接歐洲與亞洲的海底鐵路隧道10月29日正式通車，把土耳其伊斯坦堡的亞洲和歐洲海岸連接起來。總造價約合41億美元，其中日本投資占10億美元。土耳其政府希望這條穿越博斯普魯斯海峽的新通道能夠最終發揮重要的商貿作用。從理論上講，這條隧道會使得從倫敦乘火車經伊斯坦堡去北京成為可能。一條連接歐洲與亞洲的海底鐵路隧道10月29日在土耳其通車，實現「百年夢想」，有望緩解最大城市伊斯坦堡的交通壓力。
