〔記者逄緯喆／高雄報導〕「因為佛光山開山宗長星雲大師的慈悲，而成就了高雄大樹國際水果節。」5月14日佛光山副住持慧傳法師在記者會上表示，延續大師的慈悲精神，此次水果節「果香書香處處飄香，人情法情處處真情」，結合書香、果香與活動，讓偏鄉地區、弱勢團體也能品嘗玉荷包的甜美滋味。
