〔記者顏真真／台北報導〕在日圓兌美元升破97整數關卡，熱錢推升亞洲貨幣強彈，新台幣兌美元匯價7日盤中也勁揚近3角，一度來到29.616元，不過，在中央銀行尾盤急踩剎車，新台幣兌美元匯價終場以29.871元作收、小升4.4分，這也是近1個月來的收盤新高價，台北外匯經紀公司成交量9.55億美元。
