〔記者李鴻典／台北報導〕西馬隆颱風於今(17)日上午形成，公路總局已於11時30分成立應變小組因應。因應西馬隆颱風可能對中部帶來豪雨，公路總局所屬各工務段將預期採取多項預警性封路作為。
