〔記者陳鈞凱／台北報導〕血糖高高低低，免疫細胞功能受影響，根據臨床統計，糖尿病患罹患肺炎的風險，比一般人多增加3至6倍，疾病管制署傳染病防治諮詢委員會預防接種組（ACIP）就建議，成人糖尿病患都應該注射肺炎鏈球菌疫苗，但中華民國糖尿病衛教學會調查卻發現，超過7成患者沒有針對肺炎採取預防行動，輕忽感染肺炎的風險。
