iPad 5 傳10月上市　幾乎無邊框

上周五(25日) 有媒體人士爆料，表示蘋果(Apple)正準備推出的第五代9.7 吋iPad平板電腦，採用幾無邊框設計，且內部設計也大改，但預定今年10月才會上市。
 
爆料者《iLounge》網站主編豪爾維茲（Jeremy Horwitz）表示，根據他親自檢視過一台，據信是正確第5代iPad的實機模型，從外觀來看，若將機身直放，螢幕左邊及右邊幾乎無邊框，且上下邊框也縮窄到，剛好只夠放前置攝影機及Home鍵(首頁鍵)，所以，整台平板機身比前幾代都小。
 
而由於邊框縮小，且保留弧形外殼邊緣，因此可稱為「放大版的iPad mini」。
