〔記者簡怡欣／台北報導〕為了解狂犬病疫情發展，中央疫情指揮中心預計下週進行狗與白鼠病毒實驗，但是卻引起獸醫師的反對聲浪；家衛所長蔡向榮接受NOWnews《今日新聞》獨家訪問時回應，對狗進行病毒實驗，是為了解鼬獾病毒是否會在狗身上發病，檢驗病毒在狗身上的病理性差異，如果病毒真的在狗身上產生作用，會以人道的方式安樂死。
