〔記者孫偉倫／台北報導〕立法院交通委員會15日初審通過航業法部分條文修正案，未來商船航行至有海盜威脅的公海領域時，可望開放僱用私人武裝保全，以確保我國商船在海上的生命財產安全；但國內領海或經濟海域範圍內，則由政府負起保護責任。
